Åbro Brewery is a family-owned brewery in Vimmerby that dates back to 1856. Åbro brewery is Sweden's oldest family brewery and one of Europe's most modern. Since the beginning, beer has been brewed with water from the same source in Vimmerby in Småland. Åbro Bryggerier has a net turnover of over SEK 1.2 billion and more than 220 employees.

ÅBRO'S JOURNEY TO INFOR CLOUD SUITE
Since 1998, Åbro had been running an older version of a smaller Swedish business system. The system, which was adapted to Åbro's operations and needs from the 80s and 90s, was no longer the platform on which the company could get good system support and build future solutions.
Åbro demanded a new IT support that could both support today's business processes, but which could also enable future business development and the digitalization journey. The company wants to spend its time and energy on business development and not on technology.
We requested an industry-specific overall solution rather than individual digital islands. The motivation to change system was based on the desire for increased reliability and cost savings. But above all, the motivation for the ERP change was the opportunities a modern business system could give us at Åbro to achieve our growth goals.

WHAT HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED?
In connection with a project, Åbro saw great potential to enhance the efficiency and development of its business processes, introduce more mobile solutions, improve integration opportunities and improve financial control and follow-up.
The choice fell on Infor Cloudsuite Food & Beverages, with a very good functional match as system support for Åbro's operations. Åbro also chose Medius as an invoice scanning solution and Click & Decide as a BI tool.
Important in Åbro's decision-making process for a new ERP was of course the system's functional match. But equally important for Åbro was the partnership with the intended implementation partner and the consulting team's competence, industry knowledge and trust they instilled. Åbro was looking for a partner with an understanding of the brewing industry (F&B), who could be consultative, proactive and who could guide Åbro's project team throughout the project.
Throughout the entire project, we have worked side by side with the M3CS team and felt great confidence in their consultants. During the implementation, many workshops were conducted together where we have jointly designed the solution adapted to our business.

M3CS offered an initial Proof-Of-Concept setup, together with Åbros and M3CS's intended project team. During a number of weeks of joint workshops, the team could run through the most important business processes together in the system and at the same time get to know the prospective teams.
We now have a system adapted to the future, which enables business development and not least the opportunity to collaborate even more closely with our customers. Since Infor's solution runs in the cloud, it simplifies the IT side where we do not have to have hardware on site. Updates are made continuously and the program is developed, so even for our industry we see the cloud as the future to simplify everyday life.
